The Hoodstock Fund was founded in 2022 with the goal of creating a pathway into the music industry for young people who wouldn't otherwise have access to it.
We decided that the best way to do this would be to share the resources we use day today, most notably the studio.
Fund sessions widely vary from relatively established young musicians who are short on money but need to finish some work to a young person who's never picked up an instrument before but is interested in making music.
All sessions take place at Fuzzbrain Studios and come complete with an engineer and all the equipment.
Sessions are available monthly and announced via our social media channels. They are available to anyone who is 15-25 years old and wouldn't otherwise be able to access the studio. They are claimed on a first come first served basis and we encourage repeat sessions so that young people can continue to develop their practice.

The revenue for the Hoodstock Fund is generated by Hoodstock ticket sales, donations and grants. Since it's inception we have raised over £30,000 and worked with over 120 young people through sessions and many more attendees to our events.
